Slovenia is an EU member since 2004 and adopted EURO currency with the 1st of January 2007. It is a safe and hospitable western country by all geographical, cultural, political and economic standards. It is a small country situated at the heart of Europe, approximately halfway between Vienna and Venice, which can be quickly reached by modern motorways. One of its main characteristics is its surprising diversity for such as small territory. Weather in Slovenia

In general, Slovenia has four distinctive seasons, with pleasant spring, hot summer, colorful autumn and snow in the winter. However, some regional variations apply, especially in the Coastal region, which has a Mediterranean type of climate with mild winters and warm, sunny summers. The rest of the country has a continental climate, ranging from Austrian type weather in the alpine western part of the country, to somewhat warmer climate in the east of the country, where vineyards and orchards are very common.
